Entrepreneur coaching in Germany

Entrepreneur coaching is a support instrument to increase the prospects of success of the start-up idea and to safeguard jobs on the long term. Entrepreneurs can qualify for grants to help finance the coaching measures. The aim is to make the start-up phase easier and increase the growth potential and the number of business start-ups that succeed.

The "Entrepreneur coaching in Germany" programme is the reorganised follow-up to the programme of the same name from the 2007-2013 ESF programming period. What is new in this programming period is the greater concentration on specific target groups, with women entrepreneurs, in particular, being specifically targeted, and the early start-up phase to increase the impact and efficiency of the coaching service.

Support is provided to business start-ups in the following areas:

  • Trade and industry (trade, crafts, industry, tourism and hospitality, sales representatives and commercial brokers, other service industries, transport industry)
