Sustainable impact - promoting entrepreneurship for the common good

The aim of the funding is to increase the performance and competitiveness of companies for the common good. The programme also supports the contribution of companies for the common good to a low-CO2 Europe and thus contributes to ecological sustainability.

With a grant for personnel and material costs, structures and capacities with general information and support offers on fundamental questions of starting a business, company management, digitization, sustainability, adaptation to change and networking for companies for the common good are to be developed and built up. The funding is also intended to contribute to a strategy-led and permanent improvement in the networking of the actors.

The funding is aimed both at actors whose support offers have so far been primarily aimed at economically oriented companies and at actors whose focus is already on companies for the common good.

The funding is to be provided continuously in two modules to support companies for the common good, particularly in the start-up and early growth phases. and are expected to take place in additional topic-specific funding calls:

  • Module I: In-depth support for public-benefit-oriented companies in other areas ("individual module")
  • Module II: Comprehensive information, networking and peer-to-peer learning ("multiplier module").

In addition, projects can receive a climate bonus in the form of a higher grant share if the thematic focus has a climate or environmental protection focus or if companies are particularly targeted whose business model makes a significant contribution to climate protection.

"Sustainable Impact" is the successor programme to “REACT with Impact”.
