REACT with impact - Promoting social entrepreneurship (REACT-EU)
The funding programme “REACT with impact - Promoting social entrepreneurship” was funding individually organized counselling and accompanying measures for ECG (Economy for the Common Good) companies and their management in all economic, financial, digital or organizational issues. The counselling and accompanying measures were provided by registered consulting firms.
The aims of the funding programme included
- stabilizing and professionalizing ECG SMEs as well as
- strengthening ECG start-ups to increase their attractiveness for investors (investment readiness).
This should help them on the one hand to recover from the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis and to master future crises better. On the other hand the aim was to empower them to grow in order to increase their positive contribution to social change processes.
Funding was provided to counselling and support services as well as process backstopping to implement the identified measures by registered consulting firms. The possibilities offered by digital transformation should be used to optimize business processes and to realign business models. The aim was to develop and strengthen entrepreneurial skills and the employability of a company’s employees, thereby securing and creating jobs in the long term, so that ECG companies could stay in the market.
Therefore, a subsidy towards the costs of counselling and accompanying measures aimed to make it easier for ECG companies to make use of external counselling.
